We are pleased to announce significant updates to our Google Ads integration, allowing mParticle customers to forward consent signals to Google. In response to the Digital Markets Act (DMA), Google now requires consent signals from EEA users for Customer Match, effective March 6th, 2024. These updates enhance consent management within Google Ads Audience and Event integrations in mParticle.
Users can now precisely control consent through mapping and optionally set default audience consent in mParticle settings. This ensures compliance with EU regulations and protects user privacy by accurately conveying consent signals to Google.
This update reaffirms our dedication to providing a secure and compliant platform. We encourage our customers to review and adjust the integration settings as needed to ensure compliance with Google’s EU consent policy.
