mParticle’s Facebook Offline Conversions integration now supports Meta’s Conversions API, the recommended approach for offline conversion tracking as Meta prepares to deprecate the Facebook Offline Conversions API in May 2025.
What’s New:
Meta’s Conversions API is now used for offline conversion reporting in new mParticle connections, requiring three new settings:
Conversions API Access Token: Authenticates API calls.
Dataset ID: Identifies the Facebook dataset.
External User Identity Type: Matches user identities.
Existing users of the Facebook Offline Conversions integration must configure these settings to transition to the new API before May 2025 to ensure uninterrupted functionality.
At mParticle, we are committed to keeping our integrations ahead of industry changes to provide seamless and reliable experiences. This update enhances compatibility with Meta’s evolving API requirements while supporting seamless offline conversion tracking.
